Ask your child if they are a member of any social networking sites. Do they have a blog? What sort of things do they post? Ask your child to show you their profile. Review the rules with your child as to what is appropriate on a public forum. Depending on your child's age you may consider asking them for their usernames and passwords so that you can monitor what they put online.
